Story to special projects…

Coffee Table

Some projects are just made from the heart.
This coffee table was my very first – and it found the perfect home right away: in the tattoo studio of my good friend Brian (@shyguytattoo) from Lgoodboy.tattoo.yard in Saarbrücken.

A table that holds more than just coffee – it’s made for stories, ideas, and good conversations.
And honestly: where better for my first table than with Brian?

“Santa Cruz” Edition

A true collector’s item for coffee lovers and skateboard enthusiasts alike: the limited Comandante “Santa Cruz” Edition combines precise craftsmanship with a deeply personal story.

Why “Santa Cruz”?
Raphael, co-founder and designer of the Comandante Grinder, grew up in Santa Cruz, California – and has always been a passionate skateboarder. With this edition, he brings together his love for coffee and boards in a truly unique way.

Recycling with Style
For this special edition, 26 used skateboards were transformed through meticulous craftsmanship into an ultra-thin 0.5 mm veneer. Each piece was carefully layered and shaped – an extremely time-consuming process that limited the edition to just 12 units.

The Santa Cruz Edition was first unveiled at the World of Coffee 2018 in Amsterdam – and instantly turned heads.

La Marzocce

One of my greatest projects so far:
A fully customized La Marzocco Linea Mini in elegant matte black.

Every single part was handcrafted – with great attention to detail, patience, and the ambition to create something truly unique.
The result: an espresso machine that impresses not only technically, but also makes a real visual statement.

Trophies

This project was especially close to my heart:
Trophies for a skate contest in my old hometown in the Saarland.

Skating shaped me for many years – so it feels great to give something back.
These trophies are more than just prizes – they represent passion, community, and the spirit that still drives me today.

Unica Coffee

A truly special project:
A custom Unica Coffee Machine, handcrafted in Switzerland – refined in collaboration with Vicky from @Vaim.me, who brought each detail to life with her incredible airbrush work.

Technology, design, and craftsmanship come together to create a true one-of-a-kind piece – just as the name “Unica” suggests.
A project that shows how much passion and creativity can go into a coffee machine.
